Leadership in the Bar, Profession and Community:  An opportunity and an obligation

Many lawyers are unaware that bar associations have the potential to offer opportunities to make a difference in addressing bias in the legal profession and in the administration of justice.　

This program will focus on women, communities of color, LGBT lawyers, and lawyers with disabilities, to identify those opportunities. Bar involvement -- whether in organizations like the MSBA or affinity bars, and/or service through appointments -- can help attorneys from traditionally-underrepresented populations develop the leadership skills needed in positions critical to making a difference in challenging bias.

This promises to be an exciting CLE presentation, featuring diverse leaders from across the Minnesota legal and justice community.
