Marques Lang is the founding attorney for Landon Kennedi Law, PLLC. If you are wondering where the firm name comes from, it is to honor his two children, Landon and Kennedi (deceased), while being an example in showing what is possible when you do what you know is right and have faith that it will work out when you are committed to serving others.
Marques took an unconventional route into practicing law. Prior to starting Landon Kennedi Law, PLLC, he served as a financial planner, coach, and educator. In these roles, he worked with entrepreneurs, individuals, and families to identify and refine their financial goals and values, gain clarity about their money relationships, increase financial resiliency through various life-stages, including divorce, and provided comprehensive financial planning and training. In addition, Marques has worked in federal human resources management on numerous employee pay and benefit issues, as an analyst at a retirement plan consulting firm, and has served as an adjunct professor. This range of professional experience gives Marques a unique perspective in handling a variety of QDRO related matters.
In his free time, Marques enjoys spending time with his family; kayaking; paddle boarding; hiking; snowshoeing; wine tasting; and seeing live music, particularly jazz, blues, funk, and soul.
