Should you really trust Google for your legal research? In this presentation, we'll examine Google and other free online resources for research. We'll consider how to properly situate Google within common legal research tasks. In addition to reviewing search techniques, we'll discuss the risks and rewards of using Google to complete searches, set up alerts, process result sets, review secondary sources, and more. And, we'll consider when it's better to transition to subscription-based research tools.
