Marisa Portuondo. Prior to attending law school,
Ms. Portuondo graduated with a Master of Science degree from Florida
International University’s College of Business and worked in the pharmaceutical
industry managing over $60 Million of pharmaceutical raw material in several
worldwide locations. While attending the University of Miami School of Law, Ms.
Portuondo completed two internships at the Third District Court of Appeal under
Chief Judge Juan Ramirez, Jr. and a third internship in the Miami-Dade County
Public Defender’s Felony Division. Attorney Portuondo’s work focuses on business
and construction law, real estate litigation, and property damage claims.

Emily Cooper , Cooper Law Firm. Emily started her firm Cooper Law, LLC in 2010 with a goal of bringing affordable legal services to middle and lower-income individuals. As a single parent, she realized the importance of having an attorney in family law matters as well as the difficulty of affording one at standard attorney rates. Cooper Law's focus is on providing sliding scale legal fees and limited scope services to family law clients.
