How to Try a Jury Trial - Phase I Voir Dire

When:  Feb 6, 2020 from 04:30 PM to 06:30 PM (CT)

Sponsored by the HCBA Bench and Bar Committee

Program:

Many practitioners only have a few jury trials in their careers. Be prepared for your next jury trial and better prepared throughout the pre-trial process by hearing from judges about what to expect at trial. In this three part series a panel of judges will interact with participants to share best practices of trial lawyers – Part I - Voir Dire, Part II - Witness Examination/Evidence Handling (March 12) and Part III - Opening and Closing Statements (April TBD).

After the program, the judges and attendees will mingle at a reception that will allow the attendees to get to know these judges in a less formal setting.

Thank you to Messerli Kramer for sponsoring the social hour to follow.
