Tech to Practice Better, Faster, Stronger

Want to use modern tools to expedite and improve your practice? Looking for an overview of technologies that lawyers are using to deliver more client value? Lawyer and technologist Damien Riehl will review and demonstrate tools that he and other lawyers use to help their practices — including password management, task management, calendaring, and practice management. Free and inexpensive online tools can help make complex legal processes more manageable.

Damien Riehl is a technology lawyer with experience in legal software design, data privacy, and security. After clerking for the chief judges of the Minnesota Court of Appeals and U.S. District Court in Minnesota, he practiced in complex litigation for a decade at Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi. His practice experience includes data privacy (CIPP/US), patents, copyright, trademarks, business torts, breaches of contract, antitrust, financial litigation, and appeals. He is currently a Vice President at Stroz Friedberg, managing cybersecurity engagements to bolster clients' data security and resilience.
