Minnesota
Paul Weirtz was named President of
AT&T Minnesota in March 2013. As the president for AT&T Minnesota,
Paul leads AT&T’s legislative and community affairs activities in the state
and works closely with community leaders, legislators and other policy makers,
as well as local and regional business leaders and customers. In 2017,
Paul was instrumental in advocating for state legislation that streamlines the
process for the deployment of small cell technology in Minnesota, paving the way
for the next generation of wireless technology in the state. Paul was also
appointed by Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton to a three-year term on the
Governor’s Broadband Task Force in 2015.
Pamela Whitmore | Research
Attorney | Minnesota League of Cities
Pamela Whitmore works as an attorney at the League of
Minnesota Cities, and also coordinates the special services provided by the
League regarding civility, good governance and conflict resolution. Ms. Whitmore
serves as the subject matter expert for telecommunications issues at the League,
was involved with the negotiations of the recent state law amendments to
Minnesota’s Use and Regulation of Public Right-of-Way statute, and actively
responds to FCC Notices on behalf of the League. Before joining the
League, Pamela worked as a litigation attorney at Iverson Reuvers and
specialized in municipal law.
