In 1492 Columbus sailed the ocean blue. Technology (and the legal profession) has changed significantly in the intervening 525 years. Join the MSBA in Minneapolis on Monday, October 9, for this year’s Technology Conference to learn how new trends in technology is disrupting and reshaping the legal profession.
This year’s conference will feature several prominent national speakers, including: Claude Ducloux, Director of LawPay Education; Kristen Sonday, COO and Co-Founder of Paladin; Ed Walters, CEO of Fastcase; Adriana Linares, President of LawTech Partners and 2017 ABA TECHSHOW Chair; Todd Scott, VP of Risk Management at MLM; and Tony Lai, CEO & Co-Founder of Legal.io.
Additionally, as with last year’s conference, attendees will receive several ‘bonus’ CLE programs with conference registration. The MSBA has further expanded this concept into a ‘Tech Month.’ Throughout October the MSBA will offer several programs and events designed to help members stay abreast of changing technology affecting the legal profession. Tech Month will kick off with the Tech Conference on October 9th and culminate in an eDiscovery event with 2 CLEs and a Headshot Day on October 31st at the MSBA offices.
All of these programs – including the Tech Conference – will offer a remote participation option for those members who cannot attend in person.
