What to learn from the last year: Key Fraud and Abuse Cases and Regulations

When:  Dec 15, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM (CT)

Deadline to Register: Wednesday, December 13, 2017

Breakfast and registration will start at 7:30 a.m.  The CLE program will begin at 8:00 a.m.

Recent cases offer important lessons about the government’s enforcement positions and creative defenses available during a fraud and abuse investigation.  They also suggest risk management strategies that health care organizations can use to avoid trouble.  The session will describe the practical significance of key Stark, Anti-Kickback and Medicare billing investigations and litigation.  It will also cover the safe harbors issued last year protecting some cost sharing, free transportation and other programs and describe some other regulatory developments.
