It's a busy week here at the MSBA. Twelve of the
27 events I count this week are sponsored by the MSBA. I'm very much looking forward to the Civil Lit Dinner on
4/27. The section is hosting Erwin Chemerinsky. Chemerinsky is a nationally-recognized commentator and scholar on constitutional law and the United States Supreme Court. I know him best for his treatise which played no small part in my surviving con law courses. Chemerinsky's writing is plain and he doesn't avoid politics. For example, check out his
recent article for the Los Angeles Daily News where he dispels three myths of the Gorsuch nomination.
Other events this week at the MSBA:
- Today at 3:30, 3 law students present their research on equal justice.
- The Arts and Entertainment Law Section pulls no punches on Friday with, Why the Blurred Lines Lawsuit is the World’s Worst Music Copyright Decision.
